Melissa Romero

Hi, I’m Melissa Romero, and I’ve proudly worked in healthcare for over 15 years. Throughout my career, I’ve gained experience in drug testing, phlebotomy, and patient care, always focusing on treating every person with compassion, dignity, and respect.

My passion for foot and nail care began while working in the VA Nail Clinic, where I spent five years caring for veterans. During that time, I saw firsthand how important proper foot and nail care is to a person’s comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.

Wanting to provide the highest level of care to even more people, I returned to school and earned my New Mexico Nail Technician License. This allowed me to combine my healthcare background with professional nail care, giving clients a safe, comfortable, and personalized experience.

My goal is simple: to help those who have difficulty caring for their own feet and nails, whether due to age, mobility challenges, medical conditions, or simply because they prefer a more personal, one-on-one experience. I believe everyone deserves to feel comfortable, cared for, and never judged.

I am passionate about learning and believe that education never stops. As the foot and nail care industry continues to grow, I am committed to continuing my education through advanced training and specialized courses so I can provide the safest, most up-to-date care possible for my clients.

LICENSED NAIL TECHNICIAN

Christina Pacheco

My name is Christina Pacheco. I am Native American from the Pueblo of Santo Domingo. I have been in the healthcare field since 2009. I started my career in healthcare as a CNA and held a license till the Pandemic. I also held a license as a Certified Medication Aide through the Board of Nursing. I have extensive background working with geriatrics and a wide range of populations. I have previously worked at a local Nursing home for over 10 years prior to starting my career at the VA. My time at the VA I have worked Med - Surg, Tele, Step Down, ICU, the OR and many more units. Working with Podiatry and learning how to care for high risk Veterans and their foot care was a pivotal point in my life. I decided to build upon those skills and purse this venture to offer nail care to everyone.

I currently work in an outpatient sub specialty clinic and enjoy providing our Veterans with the warm and caring care they deserve.
